DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Conceived as a Centennial project to celebrate Canada’s 100th, the Provincial Minister of Tourism cut the ribbon declaring the Centennial Lookout Tower open to the public on May 24th, 1969. Visitors may enter the first level of the structure in the winter as the top level is only open during the summer months. The tower offers a magnificent view of the City of Owen Sound and the harbour. Climb the spiral staircase of the Centennial Tower to reach one of the highest peaks in Owen Sound, overlooking the city and harbour from the east. The tower is off of 9th Ave East, south of Superior Street, next to an ice cream shop. If heading north, look for the City of Owen Sound entrance sign on your left. The Centennial Tower is right on the Bruce Trail and connects with both Harrison Park and Inglis Falls, passing stunning stone formations and cliff faces. The tower is open from May to early October, closing after Thanksgiving. Centennial Tower Lookout magnificent view of the City of Owen Sound and the harbour, this is a must stop. Heading South towards Highway 6 & 10, exiting the City of Owen Sound on the right hand side of the Highway is a parking area and access point to Centennial Towe Location: 290 9th Ave E, Owen Sound, ON N4K 5N6
