Magical Performances at Meaford Hall All Summer Long

Meaford Hall has been an iconic landmark for locals and visitors since 1909, and is located in the downtown core, just steps from the Harbour. After being reconstructed due to a fire in 1907, it was first unveiled as the new and bustling Town Hall and Opera House. Over the years, the building has undergone several transformations to make for a more welcoming and accommodating environment, as well as ensuring preservation for many future generations to enjoy.

It was, and still is today, much more than just a building. It’s a community hub where people come together to connect and bond over their mutual love of theatre, music, the arts, and of course, the small town of Meaford.

Open year round, Meaford Hall has many spectacular performances and events happening all summer long, including a Canadian exclusive concert from a famous Canadian actor and musician. Read below for all of the exciting details.

Noah Reid Live in Concert – Friday, September 8th

On Friday, September 8th Meaford Hall presents Canadian actor and musician, Noah Reid, for an exclusive live concert.

Known best for his role of Patrick on Schitt’s Creek, Reid was born and raised in Toronto and has been playing the piano and composing music for as long as he can remember. He continued to submerge himself into his song craft during his studies at the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada. However, Reid’s career really took off when he landed a key role as in the award-winning television series.

Reid’s latest album, entitled “Adjustments”, channels his complex whirlwind of emotions during a transitional period of his life. All at once, he was getting married, the television show was winding up, and the global pandemic was beginning.

This show is a Canadian exclusive opportunity to see this world renowned star in this beautiful, 330 seat, historic venue. After this performance, Reid and his band will be touring all over the world, so catch this exclusive performance while you can. It will be ‘simply the best’.
