Located on the Niagara Escarpment, Highlands Nordic provides amazing views of Georgian Bay and its bountiful nature. Enjoy 25 km of ski trails, 7km of snowshoe trails, and an 8,000 square foot lodge complete with cafeteria, meeting rooms, pro-shop, rentals and more. Weather-permitting, they even have a tobogganing park!

Whether you prefer to ski, snowboard, Hike N Tube, experience the Ridge Runner, or snowshoe, there is a whole lot of fun to be had at Blue Mountain Resort. Afterwards you can partake in Apres Ski or take a stroll through the Village and explore all it has to offer!

Enjoy the 27 km trail network by cross country ski, or hike by snowshoe on 10 km of trails at Scenic Caves. Looking for a stunning view of Georgian Bay? Snowshoe over the Suspension Bridge, where you will be suspended high above the snowy forest floor with an incredible 360 view. On a clear day, you can see to the far side of Georgian Bay and beyond!

Free Spirit Tours will take you on a memorable adventure in South Georgian Bay. Snowshoe through the woods before exploring the caves at Metcalfe Rock.

Wasaga Beach Provincial Park
Wasaga Beach offers some amazing terrain for skiing in Central Ontario with over 30 km of groomed trials. Experienced skiers can challenge themselves on the High Dunes Trail, while beginner skiers can enjoy the Blueberry Trail. The Wasaga Nordic & Trail Centre, typically open from December – March, offers equipment rentals, light refreshments and shelter to take a break and warm up.
