____________________________As many of us are ready to enjoy the nice weather, viewing a beautiful sunset over a waterfront may be a great and relaxing summer activity. South Georgian Bay has some spectacular sunset watchable spots. This Ontario Park in The Blue Mountains is a fantastic place to watch a sunset from the flat rocky shores of Georgian Bay. This enjoyable spot is great for walking, lounging and swimming. The Collingwood Grain Terminals pier overlooking Georgian Bay and The Blue Mountains makes a perfect location for family and friends to enjoy a great sunset. With the pier’s concrete and grass areas, this spot can be great for walking, lounging, fishing, and playing! The world’s longest freshwater beach, located in Wasaga Beach, has a nice sandy shoreline area on the Bay to watch a sunset. Great for walking along the boardwalk, sitting on the sandy beach and swimming! Washrooms are also available along the beach. Just like the name, Sunset Point is a excellent park to view sunsets. The area includes a rocky beach, grassy areas with trees, walking paths, a playground, an inukshuk, washrooms, fishing areas, picnic benches, as well as ‘The Chipper’ (a place to grab some food truck meals). Sunset Point can be a beautiful spot to view a sunset with a silhouette of the Grain Terminals in the distance.
