Seasonal Attractions - Opening Day!

The days are getting warmer, longer & we are starting to put away our winter gear for another season. Summer is on our minds and with that, we have put together a list of the opening day’s of our local seasonal attractions! The countdown is on!

 

Beaver Valley Cidery – Thursday, May 16th

Cidery and tasting room that’s housed in an historic post and beam century barn in the Beaver Valley. Open Thursday to Sunday, (and all Statutory Holidays), from 11:00 – 6:00pm. Open until Dec.31st.

Wasaga 500 Go Karts – Saturday, May 18th (weather permitting)

One Mile/1.6km High-Banked Track, 50 Fast Safe Karts, 9 Baseball/Softball Batting Cages, Two 18 Hole Mini-Putt Courses & Snack-Bar & Picnic Facilities. Open from Monday – Friday from 10-6pm,  Saturday & Sunday from 11-8pm until Thanksgiving, (weather permitting).

 

Blue Mountain Go Karts – TBD

A Family entertainment centre with go karts, batting cages, kiddy rides, mini golf, arcade and snack bar.

 

Collingwood Adventure Voyages – Thursday, May 16th

Boat tours & cruises in Collingwood. Also offering fishing charters & shipwreck exploring! Call ahead to book! Weather permitting.

Collingwood Charters – Saturday, May 18th

Daily sightseeing tours, sunset cruises, private charters, dinner cruises, weddings & more! Call to book or book online.

SPRING (MAY 18-JUNE 10) Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday

SUMMER (JUNE 11-SEPTEMBER 16) Open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Midland Tours (Miss Midland)- Saturday, May 18th

A sightseeing cruise aboard the 300-passenger Miss Midland & experience the sparkling water, the windswept pines & rocky grandeur of Muskoka-Georgian Bay’s 30,000 Islands. Daily tours until October (weather permitting).

MS Chi-Cheemaun– Friday, May 3rd

Hop on board the ferry from Tobermory to Manitoulin Island. Ferry runs from May until October 20th, weather permitting. Refer to online schedule for schedule & rates.

Collingwood Free Walking Tour – Saturday, May 18th

A leisurely 2-hour guided walking tour around Collingwood, no reservation required! Tours available until Labour Day weekend.

Farmer’s Pantry – Thursday, August 1st

U-pick in-season raspberries, pears and pumpkins plus acre upon acre of u-pick apples. Open until October 31st.

Wasaga Beach Brewing Company (Beach Bar) – Saturday, May 18th

Quench your thirst with a Beach 1 Cerveza at The Beach Bar! It is located at Beach Area 1, the strip at Wasaga Beach where sun and sand lovers cruise to see and be seen.

Wilmer Trout Ponds – Saturday, April 27th

This family facility located near Durham provides a fun-filled fishing day, no fishing license, no limits, no season, bring your own fishing equipment. Open daily until the end of September.

Humdinger Bicycle Tours (Pedal, Pints & Pubs tour) – First tour is June 23-25th

NEW FOR 2019~ Fully supported and guided tour aimed at novices, 80km over 3 days. Experience spectacular views of Georgian Bay from the Niagara Escarpment, enjoy local craft beer from Collingwood Brewery and Side Launch and apple cider from Thornbury Village Cider House, and partake in some of the province’s best cycling.

Scenic Caves Nature Aventures– Now open

Special Early Spring Pricing $5.00 off park admission! Activities currently include: Nature Trail, Upper Lookout Trail, hiking Trail to Suspension Bridge, Scavenger Hunt, Wooden Sculptures, Children’s Adventure Playground. Caves & caverns currently closed.

The Chipper Fresh Cut Fries – NOW OPEN!

The best fries in Collingwood! Great food, great service and great friends, located at Sunset Point. Open until mid-September.
