Mother's Day in South Georgian Bay
Sunday, May 12th is Mother’s Day. Show your mother how much you care by spending the day with her in South Georgian Bay! Walk the harbour front in Meaford, Thornbury or Collingwood, hike a section of the Bruce Trail, cycle the Georgian Trail or head to the EcoPark in Stayner with the pooch and visit the Dog Park. There are plenty of trails in the area, whether you’d like to go on a casual morning stroll after coffee, or a good hike in the afternoon with mom.

Make a stop at Georgian Hills Vineyards for a wine or cider tasting, or take part in a Vineyard & Winery Tour & Tasting, available Saturday & Sundays at 11am, 1pm & 3pm. Groups of 6 require a reservation.
Another great local winery in the area is Coffin Ridge Winery, located between Owen Sound & Meaford. Enjoy a wine tasting of 3 wines or ciders or if you would like to learn more about this boutique vineyard, book one of their tours (classic or social affair).
