Note: When you stop to buy fresh produce from local farmers, please do not park on the side of the road. Farm equipment, cyclists and buggies often keep to the right. Curries Farm Market
From seed, to field, to fork, Curries Farm Market takes care of it all! Located in Collingwood, Curries Farm Market sells high quality produce, prepared meals, and Curries Own products. Anything not grown on the farm is always locally sourced. Curries has been hard at work all winter, in order to provide the community with even more access to food that has been safely grown, harvested, packaged and produced this season. Their fields are thriving and they are making even more local connections to provide us with access to the best products the local farms and food producers have to offer. Good Family Farm Store
Good Family Farms is a working farm consisting of 400+ acres. The fields are home to heritage-breed pigs, cattle and chicken, all of which are Certified Organic and Regeneratively raised. Located in Meaford, Good Family Farm is proud to sell their eggs, beef, pork, chicken and vegetables in addition to other goodies from local small businesses around the Grey County area. Together with other local businesses, they are working towards improving the health and wellness of the community and supporting the environment to the best their ability. With new products arriving for summer, make sure to stop by the Good Family Farm Store to try the three different varieties of burgers for your summer BBQs!
The Wild Stand General Store
The Wild Stand is where the General Store and the Convenience Store meet with a modern, healthy twist. As local as possible, environment-conscious, and most of all – great tasting! They take the best from the country general store and the neighborhood convenience store or “dépanneur”, and bringing back the original purpose of these small-scale, neighborhood establishments. Everything you need but not everything under the sun. Enjoy the Wild Stand’s selection of in-house prepared food by their vegan chef Kristin Yates, baked goods, everyday staples, and direct trade coffee from Brazil. Grandma Lambe’s Market
Take a trip back in time to Grandma’s place. Enjoy the aroma of freshly baked apple pie’s and their scratch-made savory pie’s. Their pie recipes are family recipes passed down through the generations. Grandma Lambe’s Market is your one stop shop for Ontario and Canadian goodies. Munch and crunch on one of their own orchard grown apples and browse their selection of local, honey, jam, maple syrup, cheese, beef, soups, ginger elixirs, health tonics and more! Grandma Lambe’s Market flagship store is open year-round – only closed for Good Friday, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.
Sideroad Farm Store
Sideroad Farm is a small, family run farm located in Walter’s Falls, Ontario growing Certified Organic vegetables and cut flowers and raising pastured chicken. Sideroad Farm was established in 2013 on 60 acres of loamy soil covered in perennial hayfields, pastures, annual crops and trees. Sideroad Farm cares deeply about the planet and the challenges that we are facing environmentally. They strive to reduce their impact as growers of food and stewards of the land by practicing regenerative agriculture and aiming to improve our practices with each season. Sideroad Farm’s products, as well as other products from local farmer friends, are available at the Farm Store Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Ravenna County Market
Ravenna Country Market in the Blue Mountains is a local gem and popular spot for a great lunch, coffee, snacks, and baked goods. They are known for their baked-in-house butter tarts, pies, squares, cookies and gluten-free goods. Their chef, Paul Baran, now prepares gourmet homemade entrees, soups and sandwiches as well. Ravenna Country Market is also committed to finding unique locally made and grown products, everything from honey to beef to wool hats.
