Set within one of Canada’s sixteen UNESCO biosphere reserves, lies Scenic Caves Nordic Centre – a spectacular winter playground. With our unique mountaintop location, the Nordic Centre is nestled in 370 unspoiled acres of the Niagara Escarpment.  Our location provides the perfect elevation for reliable snow conditions and consistent temperatures, all season long. Glide along our 27km trail network by cross country ski, or hike by snowshoe on 10km of trails. Our trails are professionally groomed and track set daily and include access to Southern Ontario’s longest Suspension Footbridge!

Many native species call our 200 year old forest home and await your arrival. A wide variety of birds including winter owls, deer, rabbits and other wildlife can be seen during any given winter visit.

Equip yourself for a great day on our trails with a lesson; equipment rentals and a day trail pass.

During early springtime, nature awakens and activities are available weather permitting.

Our standard package provides admission to the park and access to select seasonal activities. Immerse yourself in nature, test your taste for heights and marvel at the beauty that surrounds you from our suspension bridge. Explore our network of trails and admire the lifesize wooden sculptures. Youth can test their strength at the Children’s Adventure Playground.

April 19 through November, affectionately referred to here as “Warm Seasons”, offers a broader variety of outdoor experiences unlike anywhere else in the province.

Immerse yourself in our historical side and explore the series of natural caves and caverns – the activity that put us on the map! Self-guided trails weave throughout seventeen unique geological features, naturally carved millions of years ago by glacial ice.

The range of natural vistas and colours to be admired is even broader! Witness it all as you soar like a bird along Ontario’s longest Twin Zip Line, from among the treetops on our Canopy Walk or take it all in from Southern Ontario’s longest Suspension Bridge. And that’s not all!

Warm seasons at Scenic Caves Nature Adventures offers opportunities to enjoy the natural environment with the whole family. Picnic on our tranquil grounds surrounding the fish pond, try a round of Mini Golf or hop aboard Rocky the Train for a quick tour. Try your hand at panning for minerals and artifacts at the Gemstone Mining attraction. Our youngest guests will delight in exploring our two adventure playgrounds while caregivers take a breather on one of many nearby benches.

See website for seasonal hours of operation.
