Pretty River and Bruce Trail Loop is a 9.0 kilometre heavily trafficked loop trail located near The Blue Mountains, Ontario that features a river.
The very popular escarpment that is Pretty River Valley has it all. It is stunning during all four seasons, although hiking the hills is mostly recommended during the fall. In the fall season, the scenic views are simply spectacular with colours of reds, yellows and gold. The provincial park’s free hiking trail is a 6 kilometre moderately trafficked loop trail near the Blue Mountain.Pretty River is well worth the drive and hike, the forest and the river running through it will enchant you. Be on the lookout for over 400 species of vascular plants that have been identified in the park. The area is not equipped with facilities nor does it permit camping on site, but visitors may enjoy hiking, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing in the winter.Bring your canine! Running water is provided throughout the trail.
