Pretty River Valley Provincial Park

A moderately trafficked loop trail located 15min south of Collingwood not to be confused with the mountain biking trails at 3 stage. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. Although the park area is without facilities, and camping is not permitted, visitors may enjoy hiking, nature appreciation, fishing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling on designated OFSC trails. The Bruce Trail passes through the park. Pretty River Valley is part of the Niagara Escarpment Parks system and the Niagara Biosphere Reserve.
The hiking area reaches one of the highest points on the Niagara Escarpment. This park has provincially significant geological features and lays along one of the highest point of the Niagara Escarpment. Features include meltwater channels, moraine, talus slopes, and over 400 species of vascular plants.
Hunting is permitted in the park so keep this in mind if heading out during the hunting season and wear bright coloured clothing.
