Description

Beaver Valley Lookout

A beautiful area on the south side of the Beaver Valley can be accessed off Grey Road 13 on the west side of the road. You may find this gorgeous lookout that is part of the UNESCO on the west side of Grey Road 13. The Beaver Valley lookout accentuate the grand view of the Nottawasaga Bay and the Beaver Valley. The trail runs by fields and forests, creeks and waterfalls, all accompanied by the flora changing depending on the season. In the spring and summer, visitors can enjoy paddling on the gleamy Beaver River. The fall is best for capturing the colourful foliage, and the winter attracts those looking to downhill ski and snowboard at the Beaver Valley Ski Club, to go x-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and more.  Keep an eye out for Turkey vultures and Buteo hawks! As they do come out to pose for the cameras (although the real reason they come out is to hunt). We would love to follow along on your adventures.
