Old Baldy Lookout

Old Baldy Lookout Trail is a 4.3 kilometre out and back trail located near Grey Highlands, Ontario, Canada that offers scenic views. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips. No facilities on site other than parking and signage, but the sights to be seen after a 15-minute walk through the quiet woods make up for that. The lookout, which got its name since it resembles a large bald spot amid the forest of trees, rises 152 metres above the Beaver Valley. The view from the bald spot is absolutely breathtaking. Do watch your step as you make your way closer to the cliffs; the trail becomes increasingly rugged and steep. The Old Baldy lookout can also be reached by following the white blazes across the meadow and through the woods from the Bruce Trail Access.   After a 15 minute hiking from the parking lot at Old Baldy, you will find yourself at the edge of the Niagara Escarpment looking down 152 metres above the Beaver Valley and the Village of Kimberley.
