Attend a Local Event

Around the holidays, there are many family friendly events in the area. Stop by the Historic Gayety Theatre on the morning of Christmas Eve for a fun, free family event with movies and a performance by Sawyer Bullock.

Spending some time at Blue Mountain Resort? Explore the Village and check out their holiday events, from horse & wagon rides to scavenger hunts. Be sure to check out the Blumination Dream Trail – it’s on every night in the Village from dusk until 10:00 pm.

Take advantage of the winter activities in South Georgian Bay this season. Whether you have a favourite winter sport or are looking to try something new, there is something for everyone! Blue Mountain Resort has a number of activities, from downhill skiing and snowboarding, Hike N Tube, and more. Head to Scenic Caves Nature Adventure to cross-country ski their trails or snowshoe across the Suspension Bridge. Highlands Nordic even has fat biking trails to explore!
