Halloween in South Georgian Bay
It’s that time of year – Halloween is just around the corner!
South Georgian Bay has got something for everyone, whether you’re looking for something spooky and scary or some classic family fun. We put together a list of events in the region to get you in the Halloween spirit!
Saturday, October 26th – Family Fun!
The tradition of Halloween and the Black Harvest Festival continues in historically chilling Downtown Collingwood this Saturday, with witches and warlocks of the ‘Wood taking over the town!
Starting at 11:00 am activities will begin along Hurontario Street. You can create your own Halloween craft to take home, watch as balloons are twisted into ghosts and much more! As the town hall clock strikes 1:00 pm, gather at the town hall for a costume contest for various age categories.
The downtown merchants invite all costumed kids to come for some early trick or treating, just look for the orange witch signs on the door or window to find out who has treats inside. What a sweet surprise!
Mark Saturday, October 26th on your calendar and prepare to come downtown to see what is brewing!
Saturday, October 26th – Adult Costume Party
A night of masquerades and music at the historically haunted Marsh Street Centre in Clarksburg! Come enjoy this costume party for adults, complete with live music, prizes, and drinks straight from the witch’s cauldron! Coffin Ridge wine will be featured at the bar. Presented by local musician Chris Scerri, get in a trance and let the music put you under its spell! The doors open at 7:30 pm and the Horseshoes & Handgrenades Band will take the stage at 8:30 pm.
