RAVENNA –  Annual Beaver Crawl Triathalon (Ravenna to Heathcote to Clarksburg)

BIKE – PADDLE – RUN
Registration – as a team or individuals
8:00am, Ravenna Hall. Grey Rd 119
Race Time – 8:30am. The Finish Line will be at Firemans Park, Clark Street, Clarksburg

 

CLARKSBURG –  8:30-10:30am PANCAKE BREAKFAST. Royal Canadian Legion, Beaver Valley Branch, downtown Clarksburg. Adults $7.00; Children under 12 $4.00

9:00am-11:00am-FACE PAINTING BY JUDY SHIELD

9:00am-11:00am-HORSE AND CARRIAGE RIDES

9:00am-11am -GEORGIAN BAY BRITISH CAR CLUB SHOW AND SHINE

9:00am-11am ON THE STAGE AT THE BREAKFAST – Bored of Education – Folk, Jazz, Rock, Country, and a taste of World Music!

11:00AM-Noon PARADE – Groups, businesses and individuals are invited to join in the parade with floats, vintage cars, bicycles, music, walkers etc. Participants line up at 10:30am in Clarksburg. Parade begins at 11:00am – north on Marsh Street/Bruce Street to King Street, Thornbury.

 

THORNBURY- 

10:00AM – NOON- BRUCE STREET- Highway 26 – a local band featuring classic rock and blues with a few new numbers in the mix. The band consists of Sheri – vocals , Brad – lead guitar, Russ – rhythm guitar, Rick – guitar and vocals, Rich – drums and Mike – bass and vocals.

10:30am-2:30pm- FACE PAINTING & BALLOON TWISTING

11:00am-2:30pm – ROTARY CHILI & HOTDOGS

NOON- BRUCE STREET- Greetings. O Canada, Birthday Cake

Noon – 3:00 pm-  SIDEWALK SALE

NOON-1:30pm – AT THE HARBOUR, Fire Department, Coast Guard, O.P.P. Marine Unit and the O.P.P. Emergency Response Team “ERT”

1:00pm Sharp- PERFORMANCE AIR SHOW AT THE HARBOUR- Grab your family, lawnchairs, cameras and water bottles and head to Thornbuy’s waterfront for 12:45. Our very own in house fighterpilot and Canadian Aerobatic champ, Gord Price, will perform his exhilerating air show at 1PM sharp over Georgian Bay. Guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat while Gord shows you what his Russian Yak 50 was built to do with his precision aerobatics…. Happy Canada Day!
