Long weekends are our FAVOURITE, especially once the warm weather finally comes around. Leave the planning to us and follow our long weekend itinerary below.
Friday Evening

After a long week of waiting for it to be over, you can finally head down to South Georgian Bay, and check into Living Water Resort where your luxurious room awaits. They are the only waterfront resort in the Collingwood and Blue Mountain Area. Along with their deluxe rooms and suites, they also have over 700 acres for you to explore.
Once you’ve made yourself at home, head downstairs for a waterfront dining experience at Lakeside Seafood and Grill. Again, being the only waterfront restaurant in Collingwood, you’re bound to have a one of a kind experience. Time it right, and you’ll get to enjoy the beautiful sunset overlooking the water.
Saturday
Who else loves to start their day with a handcrafted drink made with local love? Head to downtown Collingwood for a coffee at Gibson & Co. They are an elevated Cafe & Bar that serves award-winning espresso and has a great selection of baked goods from local partners.
Still craving more? Saturday morning’s are great for visiting the Farmer’s Market on Pine Street. Where you will have an abundance of breakfast treat options! Stick around to explore all the different vendors showcased. Psst… Opening weekend is May 21st!
Spend the rest of the time before lunch exploring the many shops and pop-ups that Hurontario Street and the surrounding area has to offer. Stores like Collingwood Olive Oil Company and the Body Bar by Kalola Botanicals make for exciting additions to a traditional shopping strip.

While downtown, grab takeaway cheeses and dips from Dags and Willow Fine Cheese and Gourmet Shop to have as a picnic lunch. Take the Waterfront Trail to Millenium Park for a picnic with a view!
The afternoon will be spent out for adventure on Georgian Bay with Collingwood Adventure Voyages! Choose from a selection of tours, charter fishing, sunset cruise, shipwreck snorkeling, or a lighthouse and Collingwood heritage tour (just be sure to book in advance). Collingwood Adventure Voyages departs from Collingwood Harbour which is just a short walk along the waterfront trails from your picnic lunch at Millennium Park.
Just a short walk up Hurontario Street from the Harbour, end the day with a fantastic dinner and gelato at Tesoro which serves traditional Italian foods.
Sunday

Across the street from your hotel, you will find Heavenly Cafe for your choice of breakfast treats.
Then, spend the morning with a round of golf at Cranberry Golf Course or at the Living Shore Spa.
Finish with a late lunch at Station on the Green (Collingwood’s largest patio). Conveniently located at Cranberry Golf Course and providing a stunning view of the Escarpment.
Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring by the bay. Head down to Sunset point park to see the beautiful views that Georgian Bay has to offer. Bring a blanket and catch some rays!
After working up an appetite, visit Bent Taco for your last dinner in Collingwood.

Monday

And we’ve made it to the end of your visit! But don’t be sad because in the morning you can head out to find Press Market, right across the street from your hotel. Pick from a selection of smoothies, oatmeal, muffins, you name it!
Opt for take-out and take a stroll down to the water at the marina, and get one last look at the beautiful bay.
By now, it’s probably time to check out. Can’t wait for you to start planning your next trip back to South Georgian Bay!
