A Road Trip of Food Trucks

Food trucks are such a perk of the summer months in South Georgian Bay. This season we know of several that are posted at specific locations throughout the region. This itinerary is to help plan your road trip with delicious stops along the way. Enjoy the scenic drive and the mouth-watering destinations!

Wasaga Beach

Beginning at Beach Area one is a long strip of fabulous food stands. Take a walk and choose from BBQ, poutine, ice cream, and more!

Duntroon Cyder House

Duntroon Cyder House and Farm

This local craft cidery produces sulphite free, gluten free, and nut free cider on their organic farm. Paired with this delicious cider is the fair from the highly sought after SoCo (Southern Comfort Food and Bar) Food Truck. Open Friday to Sunday, they are serving up some delicious rotating meals (think southern comfort food, tacos, pizza, BRUNCH!). Check out their Instagram to see what the menu for the day is going to be and stop on by the Duntroon Cyder House tasting garden.

Collingwood Brewery

This local craft brewery has a large beer garden, catered to by rotating food trucks and restaurant pop-ups. Loco Por El Asado is a frequent pop-up here on weekends, serving up their Loco Empanadas, famous brisket, and other favourites from Parrilla. These flavours go incredibly well with the wide selection of beer offered. Be sure to stop by, grab a flight, and get loco!

the chipper

The Chipper

Located at Sunset Point Park in Collingwood, the Chipper offers hamburgers, hot dogs, sweet potato fries, pulled pork and fresh-cut fries. Voted “The Best in the Georgian Triangle”. The Chipper also serves 18 flavours of Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream.

Side Launch Brewing Company

Side Launch has partnered up with Mamacita Tacoria, dishing up mouth-watering and fire-roasted, tacos, nachos, and quesadillas from Thursdays to Sundays. Their large beer garden is the perfect place to enjoy tacos and craft beer under the sun.

Georgian Hills

Georgian Hills Vineyards

This gorgeous winery serves elevated food truck fare every Saturday and Sunday with a table reservation. With food ranging from watermelon pico de gallo, to spring rolls and Cubano sandwiches, there is always something to pair well with your wine tasting. Remember to book your table ahead of time!
