Winter Activities at Blue Mountain Resort

Established as a ski resort in 1941, Blue Mountain Resort’s primary offering is centered around alpine adventure. Their winter season boasts 43 ski and snowboard trails enhanced by a world-class snowmaking system. Additional activities round out the winter experience including Woodview Mountaintop Skating, Hike N’ Tube, the Ridge Runner Roller Coaster and the surrounding pedestrian Village. Visit Historic Downtown

Collingwood’s historic Downtown Heritage Conservation District boasts an exciting array of boutique shops, services and restaurants. See Downtown Collingwood’s website for a complete store directory and browse the beautiful windows that line Hurontario St. Take a short walk down to Millennium Park and gave over Georgian Bay towards the Blue Mountains. A great sunset spot!

Collingwood is quickly becoming Ontario’s Craft Beverage Capital. Cross-Country Skiing

From the Georgian Trail for beginners to the groomed trails of Highlands Nordic for the expert, South Georgian Bay has something for everyone. Hike the Bruce Trail

Canada’s Oldest Marked Footpath! Running along the Niagara Escarpment from Niagara to Tobermory, the Bruce Trail spans more than 890 km, plus over 400 km of associated side trails. There are many main trail access points and side trails in South Georgian Bay, all featuring scenic spots for communing with nature.
