We walk/ski the nature trails. We meet up at local restaurants, we chat and we laugh. We celebrate and believe in preserving our local heritage. We encourage the entrepreneurial spirit and support our community of small businesses.

Chelsea Riddell

Left the city to make Wasaga Beach her home during the pandemic. Mom of 2, devoted wife and home maker. Events and Marketing Assistant with the Town of Wasaga Beach and Owner and Operator of Confer Marketing Agency and Founder of Inclusive Simcoe. Butter tart connoisseur with the “gift of the thrift.”

Kat Kroeger

Hi, I’m Kat! I love anything and everything to do with having fun outdoors- hiking, kayaking, camping, skiing. I’m a busy bee, always on the go with work and content creation, however I spend as much time as I can doing outdoor activities. That is exactly why I love South Georgian Bay! I can always get my fix of nature when I need a break from my busy life. I can’t wait to share my adventures with you.

Maddie Johnson

I'm a freelance journalist, full-time writer, and founder of the Fresh Coast. I live downtown Collingwood and I love spending all my free time outdoors — on the escarpment, in the water, or grabbing a drink and a snack with friends at one of our favourite patios in town. I'm a sucker for a good story and I love sharing all South Georgian Bay has to offer.

Stefanie Phillips

Hi, I'm Stef! The dinner lover behind @stefsdinnerdate. My friends say I'm happiest behind a menu and I can't say they're wrong! But if that's true, my second happiest place is definitely my kitchen. I split my time between Toronto and Meaford, where I like to visit markets, restaurants, and shops, to check out all the glorious food SGB has to offer and connect with local business owners. If I'm not doing that I'm probably hiking or skiing on the mountain or in the valley.

My name is Alex, full time RN, part time adventurer. I spend my off days traveling locally or globally and can often be found hitting the slopes in Collingwood during the snowy season. I can’t wait to document and share my love for the Southern Georgian Bay area in the upcoming months.

Adventure and community, the perfect combinations for happiness! Hey I’m Cassidy! You’ll find me just about anywhere in South Georgian Bay. As a hometown girl and reinvented tourist in my own community, I love all things hiking, swimming, boating, and have a passion for art, volunteerism, and supporting small businesses. I’m always up for drinks at a new restaurant, taking a yoga class, or making art in a local green space. If that sounds fun, reach out, there’s always room for another!
